A tweet from Adam Zagoria has confirmed that the game between Villanova and Texas, that will be a part of the Big East / Big 12 Challenge, will be played on December 6th.

No venue has been established for the game, but when Jon Rothstein first noted the match up in April, the game was slated to be a home game for the Longhorns played in Austin. The Lone Star State has been averaging more than 7500 new COVID-19 cases a day over the last week and has had 987k cases of COVID-19, including nearly 19,000 deaths.
‘Nova and Texas played each other three times across four seasons from 2006 to 2009 with the Longhorns holding a 1-2 edge over Jay Wright’s squad.

Villanova has confirmed that the Wildcats will travel to Austin to play the Longhorns on December 6th at the Frank Erwin Center.
