Howard wrapped up the 2020 season with a 4-29 record (including going 1-15 in the MEAC). The Bison will be losing top scorer Charles Williams, but their second leading scorer, Wayne Bristol Jr (12.5ppg) should be returning for his sophomore season.
Jay Wright has never faced Howard, but Villanova holds a 2-0 record historical advantage over the Bison last defeating them in December 1998.
