Villanova sophomore Saddiq Bey has been named to the All BIG EAST First Team as announced by the conference on Sunday morning.
Bey, who averaged 16.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game this season, is joined on the list as a unanimous player with Seton Hall’s Myles Powell and Marquette’s Markus Howard. Butler’s Kamar Baldwin, Ty-Shon Alexander from Creighton, and Naji Marshall from Xavier also are on the First Team.
Villanova’s Colin Gillespie was named to the Conference’s 2nd Team alongside Marcus Zegarowski (Creighton), Paul Reed (DePaul), Alpha Diallo (Providence), and Tyrique Jones (Xavier).
