Today’s the big day for 4-star wing Trey Patterson as he will announce his college destination tonight at 7pm ET. The New Jersey native is down to the Villanova Wildcats, Florida Gators and Indiana Hoosiers.
Patterson had previously cut his list to 10 school a few weeks ago before naming the three finalists earlier this week. He’s talked extensively about the fit both on and off the court being a priority, and has a long-term relationship with the Villanova staff who have made him a priority recruit since the beginning.

Right now, all signs point to Villanova being the landing spot. Villanova has already landed 4-star forward Nnanna Njoku and adding Patterson would be a major coup this early in the recruiting cycle.
With his commitment, Villanova would move into the Top-3 of the 247 recruiting rankings, and they’re still chasing multiple backcourt targets such as Trevor Keels, Stevie Mitchell, Jordan Longino, Rahsool Diggins and Angelo Brizzi.
