Longino is a 4-star guard who measures 6’5” and attends Germantown Academy in nearby Fort Washington. That’s the same school that produced former Wildcat Alvin Williams. Longino held offers from Virginia, Indiana, Maryland and Florida among others before deciding on ‘Nova.
Some new summertime Villanova gear from Nike.
While the Inter-AC League isn’t a hotbed of talent, Longino was named the Pennsylvania Class 4A Player of the Year following an impressive Junior season. He’s already an excellent shooter having shot over 40% from 3-point range and 80% from the FT line last season. It’s also worth noting he’s also a star quarterback on the gridiron who garnered college interest in football as well.
Longino joins Nnanna Njoku and Trey Patterson in the Wilcats’ 2021 recruiting class. Jay Wright will continue to look for at least one more player in the backcourt, and potentially two others for a 4-5 man class.
