Paschall, who was selected by Golden State with the 41st overall pick in 2019, is joined on the NBA Honors with Ja Morant, Kendrick Nunn, Brandon Clarke, and Zion Williamson. The former Wildcat averaged 14.0pts and 4.6 boards in his rookie campaign. He shot 49.7% from the field and tallied a tad over 2 assists in the 2019-20 season.
According to the Warriors:
Prior to the NBA hiatus in March, he was the only rookie to rank among the top-5 in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage. Additionally, he was one of only four rookies to have multiple 30-point games and his four double-doubles were tied for third-most amongst rookies before March 11.
To celebrate Paschall’s honors, Villanova head coach Jay Wright, provided some congratulatory words.
"We're proud of you as an NBA All-Rookie team member, but more proud of the man you are!"
