Going all day today, Tuesday September 22nd, Villanova University will be supporting its third ever day of giving; 1842 Day. This is every Villanovan’s opportunity to show pride and gratitude for the impact Villanova has on each of us, in our communities and around the world. All Villanovans can make a gift of any size to the designation of their choice.
1842 Day is all about bringing the entire Villanova Community together whether on campus or virtual. More than 120 campaigns will be featured on the 1842 Day website this year, and you can make your gift to any area of campus. All campaigns will fall within nine highlighted causes: General Support; Academics; Athletics; COVID-19 Response; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Experiences and Services; Facilities; Mission and Ministry; and Student Life.
Whether you are an alumnus/a, student, parent, member of the faculty and staff, or a friend, you are part of this special community—and TOGETHER, WE ARE GREATER!
1842 Day celebrates the University’s founding by Augustinian priests in 1842. Donors can choose from 40 campaigns and 80-plus designations. Every gift counts. Any amount.
This year a number of additional “1842 Day Challenges” have been created to invigorate groups to donate.
So, which VU Hoops readers will step up? At the conclusion of 1842 Day, we’ll be able to track how VU Hoops readers make an impact. So, click and be a part of this community’s impact for the University that we love so much.
