The Wildcats officially added another member to the Villanova Recruiting Class of 2022, with the commitment of Brendan Hausen. The 6-foot-5 sharpshooter out of Texas made it known on Monday night.

Since live recruiting was reinstated in June, Hausen’s stock has skyrocketed. The shooting guard out of Amarillo HS, who plays best off-ball, is currently rated as a four-star prospect according to 247 sports and #96 in the country.
Hausen visited the Main Line a little less than 2 weeks ago and was planning on visiting Oregon, Texas Tech, and Arizona State.
This doubles Jay Wright’s recruiting class as Hausen joins four-star guard Mark Armstrong (South Orange, N.J./St. Peter’s Prep).
Cam Whitmore, a five-star 6’7” wing, seems to be the last piece of Jay Wright’s Class of 2022 Recruiting Class. The Wildcats are in contention for his verbal commitment against Illinois and North Carolina
