2023-24 Preseason AP Poll has Villanova at #22

‘Cats are one of four BIG EAST teams ranked.

The Associated Press released their preseason 2023-24 poll and the Villanova Wildcats are coming in at #22.

Kansas will start the season at the #1 spot as the Jayhawks collected 46 of 63 first-place votes. Duke, Purdue, Michigan State, and Marquette round out the top 5. But the top 10 also sees BIG EAST foes, and reigning National Champion, UConn at #6 and Creighton at #8.

St. John’s and Xavier are also receiving votes to represent the conference.

Kyle Neptune starts his second year as head coach for the Wildcats on November 6th, when ‘Nova hosts American University at the Finneran Pavilion to open the 2024 campaign.
