Richmond’s Tyler Burton transferring in to Villanova

Tyler Burton, a 6’7” forward has committed to play basketball with his final year of eligibility at Villanova.

The Massachusetts native averaged 19 points and 7.4 rebounds per game last season for the Spiders. He also added one and a half assists for Richmond while shooting 44.9% from the field, including 55-188 from behind the arc (29.3%). In four seasons at Richmond, Burton has tallied 1,634 total points and snagged 819 boards as a Spider.

Burton joins Lance Ware (Kentucky), Hakim Hart (Maryland), and TJ Bamba (Washington State) as the newest inbound transfers to ‘Nova.
