The time and first opponent for Villanova’s third trip to the Battle 4 Atlantis is now known. ESPN and the Tournament announced on Wednesday that the Red Raiders and Wildcats will meet in the pre-season tournament in the Bahamas.
Tipoff from the Imperial Arena on Paradise Island is slated for 2:30p ET on Wednesday, November 22nd, and will be broadcast on ESPN for the Thanksgiving Week tournament.

The historic series between the two schools is tied 2-2, with ‘Nova winning the most recent battle 2018 Elite 8 contest en route to the school’s third NCAA National Championship.
North Carolina and Northern Iowa are on the same side of the bracket; the winners and losers would match up on Thanksgiving Day.
The Battle also has matchups of Michigan vs. Memphis and Arkansas vs. Stanford.
Villanova has previously participated in this early-season event in 2013 and 2017, returning to the Main Line as tournament champions on both occasions. The Wildcats and Baylor are the only two-time champions of the Battle 4 Atlantis.
