Big week behind us.
Outright Big East Champs!
Driver's seat for a number 1 seed!
You KNOW it was a big week because ESPN not only tweeted about Villanova, but they even HAD THE WORD "VILLANOVA" ON THE SIDE PANE! They pronounced it correctly and everything! What a time to be alive.
But the season is not over. Being in the driver's seat means you still need to do work. The potential number 2 seeds are still breathing down our necks and have many chances to jump the Wildcats once again. These final two games are played in tough environments that can derail a magical season, so it's important to stay focused. Luckily that isn't a big concern for Villanova fans.

Games of the Day
Tuesday
Georgetown vs. Butler
Read the above paragraph.
With the 1 seed in the Big East Tournament locked up, the 2 seed in now the highest prize. These two teams plus Providence have the best chance, but right now Butler has a 1-game advantage on the others. I'm eager to see who can guard Joshua Smith. You may think 6'9" Kameron Woods but he's 100 pounds lighter than Josh.
Wednesday
Providence vs. Seton Hall
Although SHU won on Saturday, they still have internal issues to deal with.

Unless Delgado has injury preventing him from standing in huddle & trainers choosing not to attend to him. I don't know, man. Don't know.

This is referring to Angel Delgado being held out of the team huddles during the second half. Delgado went on to get the game-winning bucket, and wasn't upset by anything after the game. It could just be another one of those weird things with this team.
Seton Hall moved up to 7th place in the conference with that win, meaning they would line up with the 2nd place team. As we've seen, however, SHU struggles at home. Plus, the Friars ruined the Pirates' Senior Night last year, so maybe we'll see history repeat itself.
Saturday
Butler vs. Providence
Gotta pick the battle of ranked foes for Saturday. Depending on the results of the week and earlier on Saturday, this game could very well decide 2nd and 3rd place in the conference. Needless to say, Saturday will be a very exciting day of games as there will still be a few places up for grabs in the Big East Tournament up until the very last second. Look for a battle of guards in this game, with Kris Dunn vs. Alex Barlow.
Enjoy this Vine I made.
