Villanova’s Josh Hart named Big East preseason Player of the Year

Villanova Wildcats senior guard Josh Hart has been voted the Big East’s preseason Player of the Year by the conference’s coaches.

Guard Shamorie Ponds of St. John’s was named the preseason Freshman of the Year. Omari Spellman would have likely contended for the award had he been eligible.
