BIG EAST Basketball Preview: TV Schedule, What To Watch For

BIG EAST NATION

Another week, another list of ups and downs for our conference.

Sadly there is one less undefeated Big East team- Indiana State shocked the Bulldogs with a 72-71 win last Wednesday. They bounced back on Saturday by taking down 22nd ranked Cincinnati.

Xavier couldn't complete the second half comeback against Colorado and lost their second game of the season. They've shown quite a lot of weak spots in the first few months of the season.

Villanova is good. Their second half surge lead only by Josh Hart helped the Wildcats stay undefeated. And people are noticing.

Seton Hall had an impressive showing in the Pearl Harbor Invitational (can't relate) by picking up wins in both their games.

Creighton continues to roll and score 1,000,000 points per game, reaching 113 against Longwood on Friday night.

Providence found no trouble downing northeast rivals Brown and UMass, with Rodney Bullock reaching a double double in the latter game.

Marquette BARELY took a home win against a Fresno State, but did not have equal luck against state-rival Wisconsin.

Last but not least, Georgetown made it 7 days without a devastating upset loss. Love seeing the improvement!
