BIG EAST Basketball Preview: TV Schedule, What To Watch For

We’re still pretty good

Check this out.

With Xavier suffering a loss at Baylor, three of the twelve remaining undefeated teams are in the Big East. Compare this to zero Big Ten, one SEC and ACC, and two Big 12 and Pac-12 and the conference is absolutely holding their own. It doesn't matter though, because Texas A&M-Corpus Christi isn't losing a game until April.

Baylor continues to show up against ranked opponents as they gave the Musketeers their first loss of the season on Saturday. The Bears have now defeated four top-25 teams, three of whom were top 10. It's still bizarre that Baylor received a number 1 ranking vote last week, but they might sneak into the top 5 today.

I'm sure you've all been told by now, but the Big East will also have the number one team in the country! Kentucky was shocked at home as Lonzo Ball and UCLA took care of the Wildcats.

Of course not everything is golden for the Big East. Last Tuesday St. John's lossed a devastating home game to Delaware State. The Hornets haven't had a winning season in five years. St. John's is slowly becoming the new DePaul, which sucks because the conference already has one of those.

This week for Villanova, they welcome La Salle as Big 5 play continues. Then, they head to Prudential for the Never Forget Tribute Classic (see you there).
