In response to the Coronavirus pandemic the BIG EAST has canceled non-conference games for men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball.
According to the conference, a decision regarding BIG EAST games has not been determined for the Fall Sports. An announcement regarding Winter Sports also has not been announced.

All decisions regarding fall conference competition will continue to be guided first and foremost by the health and safety of BIG EAST campuses and their athletics program participants and will be made in accordance with NCAA actions and policies.
Last week, the Patriot and Ivy Leagues canceled their Fall Sports in their entirety. The Big Ten and Pac-12 transitioned all of their Fall Sports schedules (including football) to conference-only.
