NCAA Basketball: Big East Tournament Final-Villanova vs Seton Hall Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

Saturday marked the end of the regular season. Now, the conference turns its eyes to this week’s Big East Tournament.

The stage is set for the tournament to return to Madison Square Garden and fingers are crossed that there won’t be any interruptions like last season.

Villanova reclaimed the top seed this year, but will have to deal with a couple of injuries heading into the postseason. Creighton grabbed the No. 2 seed, while the UConn Huskies got the third-seed and the final first-round bye. Teams were seeded according to conference win percentage.

Before COVID-19 put an end to the 2020 Big East Tournament and put the rest of the world on hold, the Wildcats pulled off the first-ever Big East Tournament three-peat, winning each year from 2017-19.

Here’s a look at this year’s Big East final standings and tournament seeding, followed by the tournament schedule.
