Not a surprise, but news nonetheless for Villanova's star forward.

'Nova visiting Joe Girard

Girard is New York State's all-time leading scorer at the high school level and is widely regarded as the best shooter in the class. Duke, Michigan and Syracuse have offered and are heavily involved in his recruitment.

'Cats visit Justin Moore

The staff's first visit after winning the National Championship was the 4-star DeMatha (D.C.) & Team Takeover combo guard. Moore recently picked up his first Crystal Ball prediction from 247's Brian Snow.

'Nova interested in Pitt transfer Marcus Carr

Despite playing on a historically bad Pitt team, the freshman had a decent year posting 10 ppg, 4 apg and 2.8 rpg. The 6'1" Montverde product was ranked #146 and rated 3-stars coming out of Montverde Academy. It is important to remember that as of this moment, no Villanova players have declared for the draft and the 'Cats are technically 1 scholarship OVER the limit next year. While Carr would have to sit next season out, the interest would appear to be an insurance policy in case of unexpected departures.
