Brunson won the Skills contest featuring a course of dribbling, passing, and shooting with a time of 30.6 seconds beating Kansas-bound Carlton Bragg and Isaiah Briscoe who is headed to Kentucky. Brunson also finished second in the 3-Point Shooting contest with Luke Kennard (Duke) winning.

Incoming Villanova freshman Jalen Brunson has been named Mr. Basketball for the State of Illinois. The 6'3" point guard led Stevenson to a State title last weekend capping a senior season that saw him average over 23 points per game, including 30 in the State Final.
