Three weeks ago, Syracuse Head Coach Jim Boeheim let it slip out on the radio that Villanova and Syracuse would continue their rivalry with a "Home & Home" after the Orange depart for the ACC next season.
The series would play at the Carrier Dome next season with a return to Philly in the 2014-15 season for a game at the Wells Fargo Center.
Earlier this week SNY added that a third "neutral court" game would occur in 2015-16 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Today, Villanova's Media Department confirmed the two-game series, but not the neutral court game.
"We are excited to announce the continuation of the Villanova-Syracuse rivalry," stated Villanova Director of Athletics Vince Nicastro. "Our annual games against Syracuse were an integral part of our basketball schedule over the past 30 plus years, and included some of the greatest college basketball experiences in the nation. We are thrilled to be able to continue that for the next two years."
'Nova and 'Cuse split this past season's games.
