Rising Villanova sophomore guard Ryan Arcidiacono has been included as one of the 16 finalists for a spot on the USA Basketball U19 World Championship squad.
The training group has been pared down by 10 after four days of practices at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.
The squad will have a finalized roster of 12 by Wednesday when they travel to Washington DC to train before heading to the Czech Republic.
The World Championships will be held June 27 through July 7th in Prague. Florida's Billy Donovan will be the head coach for the team, with Shaka Smart from VCU and Virginia's Tony Bennett serving as assistants.
A committee comprised of Boeheim, Davidson's Bob McKillop, Purdue's Matt Painter, Washington's Lorenzo Romar and Villanova alumnus and coaching staffer Curtis Sumpter, will ultimately be picking the team's roster.
Players must have been born on or after Jan. 1, 1994 to be eligible for this tournament.
