ESPN is releasing their Top 100 College Basketball Players in groups of twenty over the next few days. Ryan Arcidiacono came in at #84 and Darrun Hilliard was tabbed at #77.
Today, JayVaughn Pinkston arrives on the list at #39.
The senior captain averaged 14.1ppg as a junior last season and became the 57th Villanovan to join the 1,000 Point Club.
He currently sits in 40th place on Villanova's All-Time Scoring list having scored 308, 453, and 479 points in his Freshman through Junior seasons. Another 450 point campaign would put Pinkston just above Corey Fisher and into 13th place on the All-Time List. In order to crack the Top 10, the Brooklyn native would need to tally 625 points during his senior campaign (19.53ppg over 32 games).
