Villanova hosts Seton Hall Pirates tonight, and the teams couldn't be heading in more opposite directions. The Wildcats are flying high after two straight road wins over their chief competition for the BIG EAST regular season championship (Providence and Butler), while the Pirates have quickly spiraled out of control.
Starting point guard Jaren Sina quit the team this week amidst rumors of locker room turmoil, and despite Isaiah Whitehead's return from injury the Pirates have lost four straight to fall to 15-10 overall and 5-8 in the BIG EAST. Barring a late season miracle, the NCAA Tournament seems out of the question and Kevin Willard may find himself on the hot seat in the offseason.
