The 2014-15 Villanova Wildcats wore a 'JK' on their uniforms in honor of Jack Kraft who passed away in August. The Athletic Department announced that there will be an open-to-the-public memorial mass for Kraft on April 23rd at 5p to be held at the University Chapel.
Kraft was hired as Villanova's head basketball coach in 1961 and coached the team for 12 seasons, ending in 1973 with a record of 242-96. With his overall winning percentage on the Main Line topping 71.5%, he remains the winningest coach in the Wildcat's history.
The mass will be held in advance of the annual Villanova Basketball banquet.
