Viewing Guide: How to watch Villanova vs. Butler

New, 15 comments

Butler desperately needs a win over a team that has had their number.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Villanova sits atop the conference standings with the only undefeated record, and now they'll head to Butler for their second tough road trip to kick off the season. The Wildcats have made the great escape out of Hinkle Fieldhouse two years in a row now and will hope to make things easier on themselves in 2016.

Butler is off to an extremely rough start after a nice OOC schedule, but their 1-2 record can be slightly excused having lost to both Providence and Xavier. Tuesday's close win at DePaul didn't help things though and even though Kellen Dunham may be out of his prolific slump, Roosevelt Jones may not be fit to play on Sunday night.

Even if Jones can't go, the history of this series suggests it should be a good one.

BEVERAGE OF CHOICE

Sam Adams Cold Snap

I'm usually not a huge fan of the White Ale category, but I had this last winter and it has become a favorite of mine. It's widely available and technically Sam Adams' spring beer, so enjoy this while you dream of March/April success.
