Prior to the season, most casual Big East fans were looking forward to this matchup as the first meeting between 5-star freshmen Jalen Brunson and Henry Ellenson. While Ellenson has had the bigger impact on his team, the Golden Eagles have struggled to mesh him and their other young talent together on a consistent basis.
Villanova on the other hand has been the model of consistency for the conference yet again. The Kings of the Big East haven't lost a conference game in nearly a calendar year, but they'll need to avoid looking ahead to Saturday's showdown with Georgetown - the last team from the Big East to best them on the court.
A clash of styles awaits us Wednesday night at the Pavilion.

BEVERAGE OF CHOICE
SweetWater Take Two Pils
I apologize that this won't be widely available for most of you, but I'm just so dang excited (see I'm turning in to a native son down here) about finally finding a SweetWater brew that I actually enjoy. Every party, tailgate or general social function I attend I'm forced in to drinking either the 420 or the IPA from these guys, and I thought I'd had enough.
This one gets me back in their good graces. Very tasty, and when I had them Saturday night I was through a six-pack before I even knew what hit me. The mark of a good beer!
