Viewing Guide: How to watch Villanova Basketball vs. DePaul

Big East basketball is here, and your Villanova Wildcats are #1 in pretty much every ranking that matters. And they’ve won three straight conference regular season titles. Which means that in a suddenly loaded conference, they’ll have that proverbial target on their back all season.

First up is the DePaul Blue Demons, the tried and true doormat of the league. They’re 7-6 after a weak non-conference schedule, which puts them in RPI killer territory.

Billy Garrett Jr. is a player, as is Eli Cain. And Peter Ryckbosch can be a pain in the ass in the post. That’s my 10-second scouting report. Villanova shouldn’t have much of an issue, but there’s lookahead potential with trips to Creighton and Butler looming.
