Villanova Basketball's Class of 2016 sets a program record for wins

And they're not done yet!

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

With Tuesday's win over DePaul, the Senior Class of 2016 recorded their 103rd victory as members of the Villanova Wildcats basketball program. The tally sets a new program record for victories by a class in the school's history passing the Class of 2009's total (who incidentally tied the then-record for wins by beating DePaul).

With at least nine games remaining in the regular season, Big East and NCAA Tournaments, every win from here on out will keep pushing the record higher. By the raw metric of winning basketball games, they're now the most successful class in program history and have set the bar quite high for the players that will follow them. All that's left for them to achieve is a deep run in the NCAA Tournament, and hopefully the ultimate piece of hardware for college basketball teams.

Congrats to Ryan Arcidiacono, Daniel Ochefu, Henry Lowe, and Patrick Farrell for four years of dedication to the Villanova Basketball Family! Here's to 17 more!
