NCAA Tournament Bracketology 2016: Latest Villanova seed projections from ESPN, CBS and more

For all of you college football fans, you might be familiar with the CHAOS concept that took the country by storm this fall. With just four spots available for the College Football Playoff, every week had fans not only rooting for their team to win, but for others to lose to teams that didn't necessarily have much to play for. Chaos largely ensured, and the CFB Playoff Rankings seemed to change weekly.

There's an easy comparison to the vaunted 1-seed in college basketball's NCAA Tournament, and we're starting to see a similar chaos pattern develop in the weekly voter rankings, as well as the Bracketology projections: For the most part, the top teams aren't necessarily picking up the prototypical bad losses (as in an RPI-killer) now that we're in the heart of the conference season. But when you lose, you drop. And teams are frequently losing.

So for Villanova, maybe the mantra is just "don't f*ck up" for the rest of the season. And given their history running rampant through the Big East, we should feel pretty good about what that might bring come March.

To the projections!
