The Villanova Wildcats are back in the championship game of the Big East Tournament to defend their title, but this year they'll take on the surging Seton Hall Pirates who are playing as well as anybody in the country lately.
Villanova dispatched Providence on Friday night with an under control performance that has fans excited for March. Even with a hobbled Daniel Ochefu, 'Nova exexcuted their gameplan to perfection and though the Friars went on a few runs the game never felt in doubt.
Seton Hall manhandled Xavier for the second time in two weeks, and is riding the confidence of their impressive sophomore class. Having lost to 'Nova twice this season, this game will mean a lot to their program.
Both schools are playing for seeding in the NCAA Tournament, but a Big East Tournament title is going to mean a whole lot to both of these original Big East schools.
