The always reliable Jon Rothstein has been tweeting out the 2016 Gavitt Games matchups in the last few minutes, and it looks your Villanova Wildcats will be heading to West Lafayette in 2016 to face the Purdue Boilermakers.

After the disappointing Nebraska matchup from this past season fans hoped for a more marquee opponent - Indiana, Michigan State, Michigan, etc. But Purdue was a Top 15 team in KenPom this year, returns a lot, and historically is a pretty good basketball program. It's not the sexiest name but it makes for a better addition to the schedule than you first think.
