College Basketball Rankings, Week 15: Villanova holds at #2

There are no changes in the Top 5

NCAA Basketball: Georgetown at Villanova Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

Villanova held their #2 spot in the newest AP Poll released on Monday. The Wildcats (24-2, 11-2) notched victories over Georgetown and previously-ranked Xavier last week and claimed five first place votes. Gonzaga (26-0) remains the #1 team as they collected the balance of first place votes.

Kansas, Baylor, and Arizona round out the Top 5.

The Wildcats are joined in the rankings by two other Big East teams this week. Creighton comes in at the #20 spot as Butler lands at the #24 spot. Xavier fell out of the poll, but is receiving votes.

Villanova next plays on Monday against DePaul in Chicago.
