The non-conference schedule framework is similar to recent years and it seems that will be a repeatable formula going forward.

The Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas offers the most promise given the potential matchup with top-ranked Arizona. A neutral site game with last year’s National finalist Gonzaga at home-away-from-home Madison Square Garden and a trip to former Big East rival UConn are the other highlights.

The home-and-home nature of the Big East means the only drama is how the schedule unfolds with potentially tough stretches to navigate for almost every team in the conference. At a quick glance, that appears to be the February portion of the schedule for Jay Wright and Villanova.

Mark your calendars appropriately!
