Villanova Men’s Basketball atop Big East preseason coaches’ poll once again

For the fifth-straight year, the Wildcats are ahead of the pack entering the 2018-19 season.

For the fifth-straight year, the Villanova Wildcats are ahead of the rest of the Big East Conference in the coaches’ preseason poll.

Villanova received eight first-place votes as favorites to win the regular season title. The Marquette Golden Eagles and the Butler Bulldogs also received one first-place vote apiece.

The Wildcats finished 36-4 overall en route to their second National Championship in three seasons. They finished 14-4 in conference play and went on to capture the Big East and NCAA tournament titles.
