How To Watch Villanova vs Florida State

The Cats look to complete their bounce-back with a 6th straight November Championship.

Villanova has had a number of streaks broken early in this season. Undefeated in November, multiple streaks in the AP Poll, and not losing back-to-back games were all ended as the Wildcats stumbled out of the gate this season. But one of those streaks is still alive: Winning November Championships.

With their victory over Oklahoma State on Friday, Nova has put itself in position to defend that streak today against the #14 Florida State Seminoles. It’s going to take the Cats best effort to take down an experienced, long, and athletic ‘Noles team that’s poised for another successful season and a deep March run.

That said, Villanova showed on Friday that they’re going to be tough for anyone to beat when playing at their best. They shot 40% from deep on a school record 40 attempts, which accounted for over 60% of their offense. But considering it’s just the 2nd time all season the team has shot over 33% from deep, it’s not a reliable way to win games. We’ll see what their approach is against FSU today.

Drink That Guarantees The Win: Sunkist Orange Soda

You’ve stuck with me so far Nova Nation, and so far the Winning Beverage has been whatever I knew I’d be consuming during the game. Well today I have Sunkist, appropriate for the team’s final day in the Sunshine state. Here’s to a third straight Nova victory!
