Jalen Brunson was named one of ten candidates for the 2018 Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award. Named after Hall of Famer and former Boston Celtic and Holy Cross guard Bob Cousy, the annual honor now in its fifteenth year recognizes the top point guards in Division I men’s college basketball.
The 6’3” junior, who was a finalist for the award last year, is averaging 19.4 points and 5 assists per game this season for top-ranked Villanova.
A list of five finalists will be announced March.
