How To Watch Villanova vs. Creighton

The Villanova Wildcats close out their first road trip of Big East play in Omaha against the Creighton Bluejays. Both teams are coming off tough road losses and are playing to stay above .500 in the most wide open race for the Big East title since conference realignment. Creighton will certainly be a contender for the crown, so stealing a game on the road would be huge for a Villanova team that’s looking to defend its title.

Creighton is powered by it’s trio of star guards. They’re all great shooters, they can all take you off the dribble, and they’re all good passers too. Villanova will have to play strong on the perimeter, something they’ve struggled with this season, and force Creighton to beat them in the paint where the matchup swings in Nova’s favor.

While Omaha is certainly a difficult place to play, the Wildcats have found ways to win there in recent seasons. Since Creighton joined the Big East in the 2014 season, Villanova is 4-2 in Omaha. That includes last year’s 90-78 victory.
