After earning a share of the Big East regular season title last year, the Villanova Wildcats aren’t sharing anything going into this season.

The Wildcats are the preseason No. 1, according to a Big East Coaches Poll. Last season, they were No. 2 going in, breaking a streak of consecutive No. 1 appearances in the preseason coaches poll.

Last year, the Wildcats finished with a 24-7 overall record, with a 13-5 showing in conference play.
