BetOnline.ag has released their updated odds for teams to win the 2021 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship and the Villanova Wildcats have been tabbed as the favorite at 7/1.
Even though ‘Nova will be losing All-BIG EAST player and national Small Forward of the Year, Saddiq Bey, the Cats are still returning 78% of their scoring from 2020. They will be anchored by seniors Collin Gillespie, Jermaine Samuels, and Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree and rounded out by BIG EAST Freshman of the Year Jeremiah Robinson Earl.
Iowa, who is returning Luka Garza, has the second best odds with Baylor- who is returning Jared Butler and MaCio Teague- is third. Gonzaga and Virginia round out the balance of the Top 5.
The BIG EAST is also represented by Creighton at 18/1, Seton Hall (33/1), Connecticut (80/1), and Marquette & Butler (100/1) in the top 50.
