March 30th Update: Fordham has confirmed that Kyle Neptune is the new head coach of the Rams basketball program.

Villanova’s season ended last weekend in a Sweet 16 loss to Baylor and the first update to the 2021-22 Staff and Roster is shaping up to take place.

Neptune joined came to Villanova when an opening emerged due to Billy Lange’s departure for the Sixers. The Brooklyn native spent eight years on Jay Wright’s staff coming to the program from Niagara (and a 3-month stint at Hofstra). After graduating from Lehigh in 2007, he started his coaching path as a Video Coordinator for ‘Nova from 2008 to 2010.

The Rams went 2-12 during the 2020-21 season. Jeff Neubauer- who spent six seasons with the Fordham- started the season, but resigned in January. Associate head coach Michael DePaoli served as interim head coach for the balance of the 2021 season.
