Villanova football finishes 15th in final poll

After of the playoffs, Villanova football finished the season ranked 15th in the TSN FCS Top-25 poll.

After starting the season unranked with low expectations, the CAA Champion Villanova Wildcats landed finished the 2012 season ranked 15th in the Sports Network's final poll. The Wildcats went from 2 wins in 2011 to eight wins, a share of the CAA title and a playoff berth in 2012.

Six CAA football members were ranked. Old Dominion led the way at number-6 and New Hampshire also finished ahead of Villanova at number-13. Also ranked were Towson (No. 17), Richmond (No. 18) and James Madison (No. 19); future member Stony Brook finished at number-11.
