John Robertson wasn't the problem for Villanova in their last-second loss at New Hampshire this weekend. The sophomore quarterback had another great performance for the Wildcats and the CAA football conference took notice.
He again completed a high percentage of his passes, going 15-for-17 and added a career high in rushing yards, with 256 against a New Hampshire defense that couldn't corral him. Robertson seemed like a one-man-dynamo, running all over the 'other' Wildcats on Saturday. He recorded three rushing scores for the second consecutive week.
Robertson had to share the honor with Maine quarterback Marcus Wasilewski, who will face off against the Wildcats this weekend at Villanova's homecoming game on Saturday. Wasilewski completed his first 12 passes and gained 192 yards in the air and added 71 more on the ground in a 34-22 win over William & Mary.

The sophomore accounted for all of Rhody's scoring with his performance, which included a career-long 47-yarder in the second quarter.Rookie of the Week: Dalton Crossan, R-Fr., RB/KR, New Hampshire
Crossan earns his first conference honor after breaking open for a 17-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and highlighting a huge Wildcats win over Villanova with a 35-yard kickoff return with 1:09 remaining that gave the team possession at the 50-yard-line for its eventual game-winning drive. Crossan also finished with 41 yards on five carries and tacked on a 16-yard reception to wrap up the win with 103 all-purpose yards.
