14 conference players named.

John Robertson, the returning Walter Payton Award winner, highlights the list of FCS Preseason All-Americans released by STATS (formerly known as the The Sports Network) on Thursday.

Robertson, Villanova's senior quarterback, accounted for 46 touchdowns in 2014 (35 through the air, 11 on the ground) and had the best passing efficiency in FCS. He is joined on the All-American First Team by fellow Wildcat, Don Cherry.

Cherry, a 6'1" senior linebacker, finished 2014 as an All-American and came in second in voting for the Buck Buchannan Award given to FCS's best defensive player.

In total, the CAA has 14 All-Americans led by William & Mary and Maine who each have three. New Hampshire joins 'Nova with a pair, and Richmond, James Madison, Towson, and Stony Brook each have one.
