Villanova RB Aaron Forbes named CAA Offensive Player of the Week

Villanova sophomore running back Aaron Forbes has been named the Offensive Player of the Week by CAA Football.

Forbes had a career day in Villanova’s 24-13 win over Albany on Homecoming Weekend. He rushed the ball 24 times and tallied 151 yards and 2 touchdowns. It was Forbes’ second 100-yard game of the season and of his career. On the season, he’s run for 600 yards (7.6 yards per carry) and a team-best 7 touchdowns.

Villanova has one of the best stables of running backs in the conference with Matt Gudzak and Javon White, but Forbes has taken the lead-back role and made it his with his play this season.
