Calling it an exodus would be a bit much, but Villanova Football is experiencing major staff turnover ahead of Mark Ferrante’s first season in charge.
Head Strength & Conditioning Coach Jake Cox has left his post with the Villanova Wildcats to take charge of the Baylor Bears S&C football program in Waco, TX.
Cox had been in charge for three years on the Main Line, and his tenure was a smashing success. His Villanova teams were big and fast and he developed both Don Cherry and Tanoh Kpassagnon from under-recruited prospects into NFL players.
Best of luck in Waco, Coach!
