Villanova Football picked 3rd in preseason CAA poll; Rob Rolle voted Defensive Player of the Year

CAA Media Day is rolling right along in Baltimore.

CAA Media Day continues to roll on today in Baltimore, Maryland and we have the hotly-anticipated preseason voting results from the coaches and media directors at the member schools.

Your Villanova Wildcats were picked to finish 3rd in the CAA this season behind James Madison and Richmond. Here is the full poll:

On the individual side, Senior LB Ed Shockley, Senior S Rob Rolle and Senior P John Hinchen were picked to the preseason All-CAA team. Rolle was also selected as the CAA’s prseason Defensive Player of the Year after last season’s All-American campaign.
