Ethan “Big E” Greenidge has been a fixture on Villanova’s offensive line ever since he first arrived as a freshman, and all that time and hard work has paid off.

Although his name wasn’t called during the 2019 NFL Draft, he had a few offers from NFL teams to pick from, before ultimately choosing the New Orleans Saints.

Greenidge, a hulking 6-foot-4, 335-pound offensive lineman, quickly rose the ranks. After a few games into his freshman season, he was inserted into a starting role amid a 2015 season that was hampered by injuries—especially on the offensive line. Greenidge proved himself, starting in seven of the nine games he played that year. After that, he never left his post as a full-time starter for the rest of his career.

He was a two-time All-Conference selection and a STATS FCS pre-season All-American heading into this season. He became known as one of the top linemen in the CAA and FCS, and got a chance to be evaluated at this year’s NFL Combine.

Now, he’ll be headed to New Orleans with an opportunity to prove himself once again.
