Williamsz, Denault in 1500m Final

Villanova's Jordy Williamsz and Rob Denault have advanced to Friday's Final of the Men's 1500 Meters at the NCAA Track and Field Championships.

Denault was an automatic qualifier for finishing in the top 5 of his semifinal heat and Williamsz was an "on time" qualifier.

The Final, from Hayward Field in Eugene, OR, will be broadcast on ESPN at 930p ET on Friday.

The victory is Villanova's 97th all-time championship all-time at The Relays (and 11th in the event).

Jordy Williamsz & Sam McEntee to represent Australia at IAAF World Relays

Athletics Australia has today confirmed its entries for the IAAF World Relays that will held in Nassau, Bahamas on May 24-25.

On their 4x1500 will be two Villanovans- Jordy Williamsz & Sam McEntee. That pair will join Ryan Gregson (who is ranked 5th in the world) and Collis Birmingham who was an '08 & '12 Olympian in the 5k.
