The Villanova depth chart is now out for Saturday's trip to William & Mary, and the team finally got some good injury news.
The big news is that starting center Ross Hall is back in action after missing the last 2 games against Maine and Rhode Island. Peter Sotiriou filled in admirably, which should give the coaching staff plenty of confidence that Sotiriou can help out in a pinch going forward. Getting Hall, an All-CAA performer, back prior to facing a tough Tribe defensive line is a massive lift.
The other big piece of news is that freshman Steve Weyler has once again displaced Chris Gough as the placekicker. To say Weyler's last audition against Fordham did not go well would be very kind. Let's hope he's been impressive in practice, and it's not a case of Gough being so bad that the coaching staff had no choice.
No changes to the defense, but Jerry Miles seems good to go after suffering an injury scare last week. If he's fully healthy, he should see plenty of the field this weekend.
